(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with a group of thirty past winners of the Queen Rania Teachers Award for Excellence in Education (QRAEE). The meeting, held at the Queen Rania Teachers Academy (QRTA) focused on the role of QRAEE in honoring educators, uplifting their morale and motivating educators to excel in their field.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the Rahma bint Al Hassan Elementary school for girls today, where she inspected several Jordan Education Initiative (JEI) projects. JEI aims to introduce technology in Jordanian schools through innovative educational programs that encourage both students and teachers to take full advantage of their benefits.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) – Under the Patronage of Her Majesty, the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Award for Excellence in Education held its 6th Teacher’s Award and 2nd Principal’s Award Ceremony today. Held at the Applied Science Private University’s Conference Center, the awards were given to 25 outstanding teachers and 7 excelling principles, in a competition that spans across the Kingdom.

The meetings focused on QRTA’s work in the south, and their programs that benefit teachers across the kingdom.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday underlined the role of school-teachers and principals across the Kingdom in inspiring and motivating students.
In a letter distributed with application forms for the Queen Rania awards for distinguished public school-teachers and principals yesterday, Her Majesty announced the launch of the fourth cycle of the teachers’ award and the first principals’ award for 2009.
The awards, directed at more than 50,000 schoolteachers and 1,900 principals, acknowledge the contributions of educators.
