(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) In recognition of some talented and ambitious students in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with winners and participants of the Intel Science Competition-Arab World 2012, which took place in December in Dubai and drew 130 students from 11 Arab countries.
During the meeting, first place grand prize winner Shatha Al-Sabbah from Jumana Bint AbdelMutaleb School in Irbid spoke about her project which tests the effect of methanol in basil plants on the oxidation and toxification of the liver.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah headed the annual meeting of Al Aman Fund Board of Trustees today.
The meeting included a presentation by Al Aman Fund Director, Maha Saqqa, about the Fund’s achievements and accomplishments over the past year, as well as their short and long term future plans.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a surprise visit to Um Al Summaq Al Shamali Secondary School for Girls and Khalda Secondary School for Girls to check up on the two public schools in Amman today. The visit comes as part of Her Majesty’s ongoing efforts to follow up on the educational process across the kingdom at the start of the new scholastic year.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah dropped in on a course conducted by INJAZ at the German Jordanian University today. The INJAZ Company Program, conducted for university students, focuses on the establishment and the operation of student led companies.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah inaugurated the newly built Southern Khashafieh Elementary School for Girls in Sahab today.
The school was built upon His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives following his visit to the area in 2010.
Accompanied by the school’s principle, Mrs. Firyal Al Hadeed, Her Majesty toured the new school facilities. The tour included classrooms, the lab, teachers’ lounge, library, the nursery and Computer Lab.

(Office of Her Majesty– Press Department- Madaba) In line with her efforts to create a healthy learning environment in public schools in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today Al Ma’mounieh Secondary School for Boys in Madaba governorate, the first boy's school in the Kingdom to receive the gold accreditation in the Healthy School Accreditation Program implemented by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS).

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah opened today the INJAZ student company competition trade-fair in Amman, and met with a group of participating students representing each of the competing companies. The competition is part of the INJAZ Company Program, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) at ten public universities in Jordan.

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania honored today a group of schools that received accreditation for the years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 by the National School Health Standards program which is run by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) in partnership with the ministries of Health and Education.
