Queen Rania Drops by INJAZ Entrepreneurship Course at the German Jordanian University

The INJAZ Company Program, conducted for university students, focuses on the establishment and the operation of student led companies.

Queen Rania Patronages INJAZ Student Company Competition

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah opened today the INJAZ student company competition trade-fair in Amman, and met with a group of participating students representing each of the competing companies. The competition is part of the INJAZ Company Program, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) at ten public universities in Jordan.

In the UK, the median age is roughly 40 years old. In the US, it is 35. In Jordan, it is 23.5. With almost 40 per cent of Jordan’s population under the age of 15, creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for its youth is an urgent, constant challenge.

One innovative organisation, Injaz, is meeting this challenge head on. Injaz, which means “achievement” in Arabic, aims to inspire and prepare Jordanian youth to compete in the global economy.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Joining around 100 students in an interactive dialogue session, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah drew attention to the importance of the broad participation of youth in economic and political development of society.

The dialogue was the second in a series which will bring together students from different parts of the Kingdom with officials, allowing youth to take an active role in issues of concern to the country at large.

Queen Rania joins in launching Injaz in Kuwait

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Kuwait) In 1999, the Injaz program was launched in Jordan with the goal of enhancing youth knowledge. The program's success has taken it throughout the region, and Thursday evening, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah joined members of the Kuwaiti royal family, government representatives and leading executives in lauding the successful expansion as Injaz was launched in Kuwait.

Queen Rania launches The Economic Opportunities for Jordanian Youth Program (INJAZ) as a Jordanian not-for-profit corporation

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, The Economic Opportunities for Jordanian Youth Program (INJAZ) was launched as a Jordanian not-for-profit corporation at a special ceremony in Amman.

INJAZ, now a national, independent corporation functioning in partnership with the public and private sectors, aims to strengthen the skills of young Jordanians through training courses.

Queen Rania Teaches INJAZ Class

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Around 30 students from different parts of the Kingdom were overwhelmed to find that their volunteer teacher for the day was Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah.

Teaching a class of ninth graders, Queen Rania highlighted to students of an INJAZ class qualities of a good leader, most importantly the significance of utilizing these skills to effect positive change and development in society.
