Queen Rania Hosts Volunteer Groups for Iftar

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted today a group of youth volunteers from different initiatives and organizations for iftar at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman. Working across the kingdom, the volunteers come from different organizations that cater towards a wide array of causes and issues such as poverty alleviation, community development projects, health and environmental awareness, assisting the elderly and education.

Queen Rania Patronages INJAZ Student Company Competition

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah opened today the INJAZ student company competition trade-fair in Amman, and met with a group of participating students representing each of the competing companies. The competition is part of the INJAZ Company Program, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) at ten public universities in Jordan.

“We are in a constant continuum of change which is altering the context for development;” said Her Majesty, highlighting the urgency and the challenges of economic downturns and record unemployment, food shortages, famine, and fuel crises.

Now, I don’t mean the laws of our governments, or the laws of linguistics or economics. I mean we need to start breaking the laws of physics.

Queen Rania Attends Jordan Volunteers Forum

Attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and in the spirit of giving back to their communities and encouraging a culture of volunteerism, “Takaful” Jordan Volunteers held their first Forum at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman today.

The Forum introduced the audience to the volunteers, their work, achievements, and the challenges they face through presentations and discussions throughout the day.

Queen Rania Visits Vocational Training Center in Marka

The Queen checked up on the Center’s latest programs and partnerships, aimed at providing youth with new skill sets that give them the opportunity to explore new careers in unconventional fields.
