(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Balat Al Shuhada’ Elementary School in Amman today where she checked up on the Royal Health Awareness Society’s Think First program. Think First is an injury prevention program that aims to integrate injury prevention measures in the daily lives of young Jordanians. The Program is designed and implemented by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) which was founded and is chaired by Her Majesty.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a surprise visit to Um Al Summaq Al Shamali Secondary School for Girls and Khalda Secondary School for Girls to check up on the two public schools in Amman today. The visit comes as part of Her Majesty’s ongoing efforts to follow up on the educational process across the kingdom at the start of the new scholastic year.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- AMMAN) – In appreciation for his giving spirit and volunteering efforts, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with a teacher from the Northern Badia district who took it upon himself to do maintenance work and services in his school at his own expense.
Murad Bani Khaled is an Arabic Teacher at Rawdat Al Ruwaie High School for Boys in the Northern Badia district.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Madaba) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined a group of children from Aqaba during their visit to the Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration (MIMAR) today. The visit comes after the children had expressed to Her Majesty a keen interest in mosaics when they met her during a visit to the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Community Development Center in Aqaba.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Ajloun) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the town of Anjara in the Governorate of Ajloun. Her Majesty’s visit to the area included a tour of a local school and a charitable association.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah inaugurated the newly built Southern Khashafieh Elementary School for Girls in Sahab today.
The school was built upon His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives following his visit to the area in 2010.
Accompanied by the school’s principle, Mrs. Firyal Al Hadeed, Her Majesty toured the new school facilities. The tour included classrooms, the lab, teachers’ lounge, library, the nursery and Computer Lab.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the town of Sakeb in the Governorate of Jerash today. During the visit, Her Majesty stopped by Darb Al Sifsaf Charitable Society to check on their latest programs serving the local community, and visited Sakeb Secondary school for girls.
Her Majesty toured the society’s facilities including the center for people with disabilities and the society’s kindergarten and pre- school where she visited with teachers and kids.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Al Hudaibieh and Abu Al Milh primary school in Amman today. This is Her Majesty’s second visit to the school and comes as a follow-up to the Queen’s first visit where she inspected the school’s facilities and greeted the students.
Her Majesty witnessed firsthand the improvements that took place to the school’s infrastructure and the educational programs that have been implemented in it.
The Queen toured the school and listened the students’ feedback on the progress they saw in their schools.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Madaba) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah made a visit to the Governorate of Madaba today. The visit included Al Namiyah Primary School, a community development center, and the Mkawer Castle Visitors’ Center.
At Al Namiyah School Her Majesty was briefed by local teacher, Ms. Roqaya Al Bawareed, on the situation of the school. The Jordan River Foundation along with Her Majesty’s Madrasati Initiative will be working in schools in Al Areed area.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday underlined the role of school-teachers and principals across the Kingdom in inspiring and motivating students.
In a letter distributed with application forms for the Queen Rania awards for distinguished public school-teachers and principals yesterday, Her Majesty announced the launch of the fourth cycle of the teachers’ award and the first principals’ award for 2009.
The awards, directed at more than 50,000 schoolteachers and 1,900 principals, acknowledge the contributions of educators.
