Queen Rania Drops In on Training Course at CUMERC

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah dropped in on a part of the “Enabling Communities through Enterprise Development” course at the Institute for Sustainable Development Practice (ISDP) at Columbia University Middle East Research Center (CUMERC) in Amman today. The course is attended by 36 practitioners in the field of development.

Queen Rania Chairs Meeting of Al Aman Fund Board of Trustees

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah headed the annual meeting of Al Aman Fund Board of Trustees today.

The meeting included a presentation by Al Aman Fund Director, Maha Saqqa, about the Fund’s achievements and accomplishments over the past year, as well as their short and long term future plans.

Queen Rania Pays Surprise Visits to Two Amman Public Schools

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a surprise visit to Um Al Summaq Al Shamali Secondary School for Girls and Khalda Secondary School for Girls to check up on the two public schools in Amman today. The visit comes as part of Her Majesty’s ongoing efforts to follow up on the educational process across the kingdom at the start of the new scholastic year.

Queen Rania Meets with Volunteering School Teacher

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- AMMAN) – In appreciation for his giving spirit and volunteering efforts, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with a teacher from the Northern Badia district who took it upon himself to do maintenance work and services in his school at his own expense.

Murad Bani Khaled is an Arabic Teacher at Rawdat Al Ruwaie High School for Boys in the Northern Badia district.

Queen Rania Meets with Beneficiaries and Board Members of Al Aman Fund

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with beneficiaries and members of the Board of Directors of Al Aman Fund, which provides support to orphans through education schemes and other services. 

“You are a role model in determination, bravery, independence and overcoming obstacles” Her Majesty told the beneficiaries. “Whenever I hear from you I feel excitement and optimism.”

Queen Rania Honors Madrasati Volunteers

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined Madrasati Initiative in honoring their volunteers in Amman today. Her Majesty heard from the volunteers about their experiences in working with Madrasati to help improve the educational environment in their local schools and implement an array of extracurricular activities for their students.

Queen Rania Checks Up on JRF’s Youth Career Initiative

Queen Rania Delivers Keynote Address at OECD Forum

Queen Rania Visits Schools in Irbid Prior to the Launch of Madrasati Phase V

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Irbid) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to three schools in Irbid today, prior to the launch of Madrasati Phase V, which targets schools in the northern governorate and second largest city in the Kingdom. Her Majesty checked up on the conditions in the schools, and was briefed on the improvements and refurbishment work that’s planned to take place in them.

Queen Rania Attends Launch of Jordan’s Children Report

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended today the launch of the Jordan’s Children Report at a ceremony held at the Children Museum, Jordan. The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) in coordination with UNICEF and other governmental bodies have drafted the 4th and 5th Country Children’s report.
