Queen Rania Checks Up on Madrasati Construction Work in Mafraq

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Mafraq) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Mafraq today to inspect and check up on Madrasati Phase IV construction work in several schools in the area. 

Following the construction work to rehabilitate the schools’ infrastructure, Madrasati will continue to implement academic programs and extracurricular activities in the schools.

Queen Rania Visits Schools in Irbid Prior to the Launch of Madrasati Phase V

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Irbid) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to three schools in Irbid today, prior to the launch of Madrasati Phase V, which targets schools in the northern governorate and second largest city in the Kingdom. Her Majesty checked up on the conditions in the schools, and was briefed on the improvements and refurbishment work that’s planned to take place in them.

Queen Rania Joins Girls at Madrasati Winter Camp in the Jordan Valley

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Southern Shuneh) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the Madrasati Winter Camp at Al Karameh Scouts Camp in Southern Shuneh today. The Queen joined the students in some of their activities and checked up on the progress of the Winter Camps in other areas across the Kingdom.

The camps, organized by Her Majesty’s Madrasati initiative, aim to occupy students during their days off school, and provide them with the space to explore their talents and practice their hobbies.

In Sahab, Queen Rania Inaugurates New Public School and Announces Adding Older One to Madrasati

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah inaugurated the newly built Southern Khashafieh Elementary School for Girls in Sahab today.

The school was built upon His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives following his visit to the area in 2010.

Accompanied by the school’s principle, Mrs. Firyal Al Hadeed, Her Majesty toured the new school facilities. The tour included classrooms, the lab, teachers’ lounge, library, the nursery and Computer Lab.

Queen Rania Launches Madrasati Phase V in Irbid

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched Phase V of the Madrasati initiative today, which will cover a hundred of the most disadvantaged schools in the governorate of Irbid. During the launch ceremony, which took place at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Her Majesty focused on the importance of education, its outcomes, and the caliber of skills it instills in its graduates.

Queen Rania Honors Madrasati’s Supporters

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) During a lunch banquet held today, Her Majesty Queen Rania honored sponsors of the Madrasati initiative, recognizing the role of the public and private sectors in ensuring the success of the second phase of the nationwide educational project.

Launched by the Queen two years ago, the initiative seeks to provide a better educational environment by renovating 500 dilapidated schools across the Kingdom in partnership with local communities, private and public sector institutions and different civil society entities.

Queen Rania Inspected Renovation Work in Two Madrasati Phase II Schools in Jerash

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Jerash) Less than a year ago, two schools in the Governorate of Jerash were suffering from serious infrastructure problems: broken windows, crumbling walls, peeling paintwork, unpaved terrain, inadequate sanitary facilities, poor lighting.

For years, teachers and students at both the Jerash Elementary School for Girls and the Asma Bin Yazeed Elementary School were distracted by their schools’ deplorable conditions.

Queen Rania Visits Russaifeh, Checks on a Madrasati School and Volunteers

 

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Tamador Bint Amer Secondary School for Girls in Russaifeh today and witnessed the renovation and extra-curricular activities taking place during the holy month of Ramadan.

During the visit Her Majesty met with several Madrasati volunteers, who briefed Her about the activities they conduct at the school both in Ramadan and throughout the year, as well as the impact volunteering has had on their lives.
