Queen Rania Meets with Students Winners and Participants of Intel Science Competition-Arab World 2012

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) In recognition of some talented and ambitious students in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with winners and participants of the Intel Science Competition-Arab World 2012, which took place in December in Dubai and drew 130 students from 11 Arab countries.

During the meeting, first place grand prize winner Shatha Al-Sabbah from Jumana Bint AbdelMutaleb School in Irbid spoke about her project which tests the effect of methanol in basil plants on the oxidation and toxification of the liver.

Queen Rania Honors QRNEC Entrepreneurs

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Celebrating Jordan’s young entrepreneurs this year, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah honored the winners of the 5th Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition (QRNEC), in a ceremony held today at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and attended by HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.

Her Majesty praised all the projects that participated in the competition intended to develop Jordanian youth leadership skills and foster a culture of entrepreneurship among them.

Queen Rania Presents the Imagine Cup Jordan 2012 Award

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Microsoft Jordan announced Dancing Pillow as the winning team of the Imagine Cup Jordan 2012 competition that was held under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Tuesday May 1st at the King Hussein Cultural Center Theatre. Members of the Dancing Pillow Team will go on to represent the Kingdom at the Imagine Cup 2012 Worldwide Finals in Sydney, Australia in July. Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah presented the awards to the winning team and the three-runner ups. 

Queen Rania Launches Logo Design Competition for New Foundation

Queen Rania Launched today a crowd sourcing project for a logo design of Her Majesty’s new Foundation, which will launch early next year.

The Queen Rania Foundation is a new organization launching early 2011 dedicated to making quality education for every child a global priority. The Queen Rania Foundation has joined the Behance network in searching for an inspiring and original logo that reflects the passions and ambitions of our work.
