(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- New York) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, gave the keynote address at the 1Goal education event today, as part of Her Majesty’s trip to the US accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah II. The event celebrated more than 18 million supporters of the “1Goal: Education for All” campaign. Her Majesty is the Founder and Co-Chair of the campaign.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to The Point Community Development Center on Tuesday, a non-profit facility in the Bronx, New York, dedicated to the economic and cultural development of youth.
Queen Rania, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Aisha and Princess Zein, began her visit with a meeting with senior staff members of The Point, and one if its main backers, Variety, a principal childrenÕs charity organization in New York.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – New York City) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah has been spreading her message of interfaith dialogue and tolerance further this week on her four-day working trip to the US. She joined a group of students at Norman Thomas High School in Manhattan, on Monday morning, to remind them how similar youth in all parts of the world are.
Her Majesty joined the students for a lecture on the global economy. The students are part of the Junior Achievement (JA) New York program, and were learning about key aspects of the global economy and trade.

On a three-day visit to the United States to promote cross cultural dialogue, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah inaugurated the “Petra: Lost City of Stone” exhibition as the first major cultural collaboration between Jordan and the U.S. at the American Museum of Natural History.

On a 4-day working visit to the United States with His Majesty King Abdullah, the Queen's call for sustained communication and dialogue was made at the opening plenary of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in New York, as well as at a luncheon held in Washington, DC with professional women from different sectors.
