Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Al Karma Center in Jabal Al Natheef in Amman today to check on the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) community empowerment programs in the center. The center includes an assembly kitchen and a handicrafts workshop. Her Majesty also met with women beneficiaries from the Bani Hamida and Al Rayyan projects.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Three days on, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah continued her visits to the capital’s hospitals to support and follow up on the recovery of those wounded in Wednesday's attacks, which left dozens of civilians dead and many injured.
As she walked through the wards of the hospitals, on Saturday, Her Majesty spoke words of consolation and encouragement to those still grieving the tragic loss of loved ones.

(Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah-Press Department- Ajloun) Residents and students of Ein Jannah area highlighted to Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah their accomplishments in the areas of education, community empowerment and early childhood development.
The Queen's first stop was at the Ein Jannah Secondary School for Girls, one of the Madrasati phase II schools. Her Majesty checked on the various extracurricular programs implemented by Madrasati partners, and asserted their importance to improve students' daily life skills.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Opinion leaders from major media networks in the Arab World together with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah on Friday, agreed to institutionalize the first-of-its-kind effort to utilize the media as a tool to advance key development issues in the Arab world.
The Arab Media Network for Human Development will be an offshoot of the Arab Women’s Media Campaign, launched in March 2004, by Queen Rania, during her two-year presidency of the Arab Women’s Summit.

In his key-note speech to the conference held in celebration of ARAMEX’s 25th anniversary, for which ARAMEX chose “Unleashing Arab Innovation” as a theme, the King said that Jordan’s future depends on our ability to create a knowledge-based economy.

(Jordan Times – Press Department – Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday paid a surprise visit downtown to get a firsthand idea about Ramadan markets and check on the welfare of citizens during the holy month.
During yesterday’s visit, Queen Rania toured Souq Al Sukkar, one of the oldest markets in the capital, where a variety of merchandise is for sale.
Jordanians from all walks of life usually converge on this market due to its central location, varied fare and moderate prices.
