(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Aiming to raise awareness about the importance of family counseling in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched, today, the Family Counseling Campaign. Organized by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the campaign includes a nationwide media campaign as well as training programs in the field of counseling.

"All segments of society have the capacity to take part in raising the level of childhood. We in Jordan take pride in having been able to establish a strong partnership between the active sectors in various social fields.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Opinion leaders from major media networks in the Arab World together with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah on Friday, agreed to institutionalize the first-of-its-kind effort to utilize the media as a tool to advance key development issues in the Arab world.
The Arab Media Network for Human Development will be an offshoot of the Arab Women’s Media Campaign, launched in March 2004, by Queen Rania, during her two-year presidency of the Arab Women’s Summit.

Her Majesty also joined members of the National Steering Committee to discuss the launch of the Humanitarian Support Network.

(Royal Hashemite Court, Communication & Information Division - Dead) His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, inaugurated the annual conference of ARAMEX International in the Dead Sea, Jordan.
In his key-note speech to the conference held in celebration of ARAMEX’s 25th anniversary, for which ARAMEX chose “Unleashing Arab Innovation” as a theme, the King said that Jordan’s future depends on our ability to create a knowledge-based economy.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah stressed Jordan’s role as a vital connecting point for paths that foresee a better future.
She said that while Jordan served as a launching ground for a Roadmap plan when it hosted the Aqaba summit earlier this month, the country is also honored to be part of a “route that brings vital humanitarian assistance” to Iraqi people especially children with serious health conditions.
