Queen Rania Visits Balat Al Shuhada’ Elementary School

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Balat Al Shuhada’ Elementary School in Amman today where she checked up on the Royal Health Awareness Society’s Think First program. Think First is an injury prevention program that aims to integrate injury prevention measures in the daily lives of young Jordanians. The Program is designed and implemented by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) which was founded and is chaired by Her Majesty.

Youth Give Us Confidence and Hope in Spite of Challenges - Queen

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Tuesday, stressed that youth and students are the pride of Jordan and that His Majesty King Abdullah and the Government are working to provide various means which will enhance their capabilities and unleash their potential. 

Her Majesty was speaking to a group of 20 female students from the Maymoonah Secondary School for Girls, during a visit to the Al-Manara area in East Amman. 

Queen Rania Meets Nelson Mandela and Graca Machel in South Africa

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Johannesburg) Starting a three-day working trip to Johannesburg, South Africa, Her Majesty Queen Rania, on Thursday, met with the South African statesman and Nobel Prize laureate Nelson Mandela and his wife, Graca Machel.

During the meeting, members of the Nelson Mandela organizations briefed Her Majesty about the various legacy projects currently underway, including the planned Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, which will be one of three such facilities in all of Africa.
