(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Washington, D.C.) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden, at the White House on Monday, while accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein on a working visit to Washington, D.C.

The meeting was the first to be held between Her Majesty and Dr. Biden since she became First Lady, and comes while His Majesty King Abdullah is on his first visit to the U.S. after President Biden assumed office in January. During the meeting, Queen Rania and Dr. Biden discussed various issues of common interest.
