Queen Rania Visits Al Karak

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Karak) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Al Karak today, dropping in on Al Rashidieh Elementary Coed School before having lunch with a group of local women, from different walks of life. Her Majesty was greeted with cheers as she toured an exhibition of products including traditional Jordanian dresses, fooditems, and carpentry, produced by six local community based organizations.

Queen Rania Encourages Cross-Cultural Dialogue and Understanding Among Women During Visit to Mosque and Exhibition Painting a Clearer Picture of Islam

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Paris) Fifty-one women artists from 21 Islamic countries gathered in an exhibition held in Paris with a common vision of promoting cross-cultural dialogue and painting a clearer picture of Islam.

The exhibition entitled “Breaking the Barriers: Women Artists from the Islamic World” was inaugurated by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah who has been outspoken on the need for cross-cultural dialogue aimed at dispelling misconceptions about Islam and at a better understanding between different civilizations.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Valencia) In continuation of her ongoing efforts to encourage dialogue between women in all parts of the world, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah inaugurated the third exhibition entitled "Breaking the Barriers: Women Artists from the Islamic World" in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Sofia and Her Royal Highness Princess Wijdan Ali, President of the Royal Society of Fine Arts in Valencia, Spain.
