النقـلات النوعية عادةً ما تحدث عندما تلتقي الحاجة بالفرصة...
قبل ثلاثة أعوام، أطلّقتُ مِنصة إدراك الإلكترونية للمساقات الجماعية مفتوحة المصادر باللغة العربية، لأن عالمنا العربي بحاجة ماسة إلى تعليم نوعي.. والتعلم عبر الانترنت هو فرصتنا.
وما حققته إدراك خلال الأعوام الثلاثة الماضية هو دليل على تعطش شبابنا العربي للمعرفة، ولهفتهم للتعلم والاستزادة. أكثر من مليون مسجل ومتعلم، وأكثر من ستين مساق مقدم، وحوالي مائة وخمسين ألف شهادة أُصدرت.
فخورة بإدراك وبما أضافته لمنظومة التعلم الإلكتروني، وفخورة بكل من يسعى لتطوير نفسه والاستزادة من العلم. أشجع المتعلمين الشباب على استكشاف الفرص العديدة التي تقدمها إدراك، فالمعرفة اليوم متاحة لكل من يريد.

Transformative changes often happen when need and opportunity meet. Three years ago, I launched Edraak.org – a massive open online courses platform in Arabic, because our region desperately needs access to quality education, and online learning is our opportunity.

Edraak’s achievements over the past three years are testament to young Arab’s thirst for knowledge and learning; over one million registered learners, more than 60 courses offered, and close to 150,000 certificates issued.

I am proud of Edraak and its contributions to the digital learning space. I am proud of all those who pursue knowledge and opportunities to grow; and I encourage young learners to explore the many courses offered by Edraak, because, today, knowledge is accessible to all those who seek it.
