وصل عدد ضحايا أزمة اللاجئين العالمية إلى أكثر من 65 مليون شخص تم تهجيرهم من بيوتهم إلى مصير غير معلوم. ولم تعد هذه المأساة تقدر بالأرقام والإحصائيات ولا يمكن تخيلها إلا عند سماع قصص اللاجئين أنفسهم وما واجهوه من مآسي عند عبورهم الحدود والمحيطات. وعلينا كمجتمع دولي أن نوحد الموارد والإمكانيات المتوفرة لدينا والقيام بمسؤولياتنا تجاههم ودعمهم بكل الطرق حتى يتمكنوا من إعادة بناء حياتهم من جديد

The global refugee crisis has uprooted over 65 million people from their homes, and cast them into the unknown. This tragedy extends beyond numbers and beyond the imaginable, and can only truly be understood by listening to the stories refugees have carried across seas and borders. As a global community, we must unite our resources, and fulfill our global responsibility to ensure that the world’s most vulnerable are heard, provided for, and empowered with the means to rebuild their lives #WorldRefugeeDay
