Queen Rania Enjoys Last Evening of Hal Hilalak Tent with Underprivileged Children
(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah enjoyed the final evening of entertainment at her Hal Hilalak tent with a group of underprivileged children, Monday. The tent, which the Queen set up and launched on the second eve of Ramadan, catered to over 5,000 disenfranchised youth throughout the holy month.
Offering a variety of entertainment for the children, the tent hosted stilt walkers, clowns, magicians and mimes.
Earlier this month, the Queen said she set up the tent to give different groups of underprivileged children the opportunity to enjoy special and exciting iftar evenings during the Ramadan.
