Vision

Education = Opportunity.

The opportunity to work. The opportunity to escape poverty. The opportunity to live healthily. The opportunity to live confidently. The opportunity to hope.

I believe you deserve an education.
Whoever you are.
It’s your right.

You deserve the chance to make the most of this brief glimpse we call existence. To be all you can be. To help those dear to you. To re-imagine the parameters of possibility.

Because education is transformative.

It can rescue a girl from the burdens of adulthood: early marriage and premature pregnancy.
It can empower a woman to take control of her life: mind, body, and soul.
It can defeat disease and temper intolerance: a shield for both our health and our humanity.

Education is a Titan.

Whole communities and countries lifted from the quicksands of destitution to the plains of progress.

And the power of education lies not in the pages of textbooks, or the recital of facts and figures.
It resides in the mind of a child who is taught how to think. How to learn. How to navigate the world, avoid whirlpools, climb mountains.

Education isn’t a line I’m spinning.
It’s a lifeline that’s saving.
Saving families. Saving futures.

the question i have is why education first? and not the arts?
i believe life is creativity first then knowledge at some points they go hand and in hand. I strongley believe we need creativity and love in this world to make it a better place than were its going.
My 10 cents.........

Dear Queen Rania

it's great but the Education for the young boys and girls it must start from there homes all of us we were a Children at some point of our life and most of us had goals some have did it some still not yet but what is really i think must be done is to give the Child a chance to chose his goal and what he want to be so in the end if you had a goal and you mange to get all the way to it you will be the best in what you are doing

let's say we have a Child he want to become a an Lawyer will if his father and mother took a good care if this boy and also they share his goal and help him out to make it to be what he want to be and let him turn this goal to a Hobby to him and also to love it he will be the best lawyer in the future

so Education start's from home (From the spurt of the family ) and then from the spurt of the Community

in the end I would like to say thanks to her Majesty Queen Rania

&
Thanks

bigEMR,
Queen Rania did not refuse to allow her book to be translated into Hebrew. After publishing an article saying that she did, Haaretz corrected their error here.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/international/jordan-queen-rania-never-got-o...

If you have ever listened to Queen Rania you know that everything she stands for, and everything she believes, is that people should not be judged by ethnicity or skin color. Her message is one of love and compassion for all humankind. It is clear that this claim that she refused to allow her book to be translated into Hebrew was nothing more than a smear campaign designed to make her appear to be an ethnocentric bigot. Why would someone try to hurt such a kind and genuine person? It is only because her message of tolerance and respect is threatening the foundation of teachings of extremists who use religion to spew their message of hatred and bigotry throughout the world. Though I am a Torah observant Jew I am not going to stand by and watch a good person like Queen Rania experience this kind of libel and slander. She does not deserve this. I am not directing my comments to you but rather to those in Yisrael who launched this smear campaign. Frankly, I am disappointed that Haaretz bought into it without investigating first.

Dear Queen Rania ,

I was very happy about your book when 1st i heard about it in Sweden ,i guess that they should translate it to Swedish ,one more thing ,as we all know how great and nice queen you are we were wondering about this case

http://www1.albawaba.com/ar/%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AB-%D8%AA%D8%AD%...

its a bout a student ,we are sure that he did a mistake but don't you agree with us that he still a kid and he may contribute a lot in the society if he get another chance ?as we are sure if King Abdullah knew about his case he will forgive him ,as he still in the university which means 19 or 20 years old ,we hope that you will get time to read the article as we are sure that your kindness will help this young man ,and instead of building a feeling of being isolated from the community you take him back to the community ,thanks in advance for your time you spend in reading my comments ,by the way, i don't know this kid ,but i am sure that you have no idea about whats going on with him

Best Regards

Dear Queen Rania,

I was happy to read about your children’s book
"The Sandwich Swap" was published in
English and Arabic, and is on the New York
Times best seller list. Your involvement with
UNICEF is admirable. HOWEVER, what an
Opportunity you are MISSING by not allowing
Your book to be published in Hebrew and Sold
In Israel. Maybe a “wise women as you”
Needs to dispense a “Sandwich” which will
bring all Peoples of the Middle East
Closer together.

I hope you will reconsider your decision.

dear queen rania,
nice to see your appreciatable activties again, but hon,i am thinking that we mean us r working for eduation and also ur work of falling 1 goal is very admirable,i am with u on ur all groups online community also, but i thought out that yes it is correct that education is 1 goal, but if there is nat peace how education will be run? so if there will be peace in the streets, child will be continue their study, if they nat able to go in the school bec of nat peace in the streets how they will be continue their study? so it is clear that 1 goal is education but first goal is peace. so hon, able queen before i given u acknowledment about my personl thoughts world humanism org that work for world peace and human rights equality and entire human being belongs from one race, dont kill each others, save human genrations from ruins, destroy and never make new dangrous weapons etc. for more my persoding speech videos r in my link www.myspace.com/shamspanhwar.dear queen rania i suggest her majesty as colleagues online community that we must work for first goal first, after 1 goal, peace is more nessary for education.this time is very impartant for peace, all over the world.human beings r fighting for their indeedwe.this topic is long and huge for discusion, i siad that tow contending ideologies of communism and capitalism are no more in contest. after the demise of communism, new ideas of nationalism and religionism are fast developing ,but these idealogies can nat take human being to peace. we need an idealogy of humanism that help to human being to peace and accept that we belongs from one race why we r killing to our same blood relatives we all human being belongs from one genration. thnaks God keep u happy with ur desirable life and keep ur activties continue to welfair of human bieng childern as education or any way or kind of help and guiedence of human being. thank you very much.

Dear Queen Rania
It's very important to "fight" for the learning kid. It's amazing to see your power that for!
But good teachings requires tutors who really love kids. So I wrote down some thoughts of mine...

Teachings
The ability to teach consists of a long addition of several and diverse addends:
the openness towards any human being and his abilities,
The curiosity to discover the unknown,
A sense of humour to laugh lustily when errors appear,
Optimism to get the best out of every single child,
To allow the growth of our personality,
To love and to cherish every learning child.
Then… a tutor turns into a learner, like its pupils are.

kind regards
Rania-Jauhara

Dear Queen Rania Al Abdulla
Im very proud to be a jordanian American citizen who plans to come back to my beloved home land jordan after 15 years of GHURBEH ! i truly admire your devotion to educating the jordanian children and giving them the most preciuos gift

as a mother of four children who their ages are between 14 years and 6 i decided to come back and live in my home country to raise my children around thier family and for them to have the opportunity to live in jordan but i have a problem that i realy cant afford schools tuition which are very expensive now days specialy that my kids cant attend the public schools due to their weak arabic language (they speack but cant read or write in arabic) my only hope is you and i have all the faith in you ,all i'm asking for is to be able to raise my children in their home country and to make sure that they get the education they deserve so im asking you as amother your self to help me get them in any private school that have the SAT american program( by the way they are very gifted and smart they always had great report card with A IN AROLL ) by giving us a scolarship or anything because i cant afford the private schools tuition for 4 kids ,i'll be back home in june 19th i dont want any thing from this life other than my kids education , and i know that you have the biggedt heart in the world and you always have a helping hand to any person who ask you.as i said we lived in the states for 15 years but i cant take the ghurbah anymore and the reason behind me being here in the states is my kids education but im pretty confedant now that they cuold have a better opportunity in thier home country because we have you as our devoted queen
please help me make my dream of living in jordan for the rest of my life reality
god bles you and you family

As a Turkish citizen I want to admit something. Many Turkish people loves you and miss a top lady like you. When you come to Turkey and when we see your pictures with other Turkish top ladies, unfortunately we always think that there is something wrong on these pictures. You should be Turkish first lady, and they should be , well I don't know... After seeing this website and learning that we can follow you on many social web sites, I understood that you are very good person, and I think perfect queen. I can say that your king and your people should proud of you. With deep respects.

Dear Queen Rania,
in these desperate times some of us here in Israel and in Palestine are still doing whatever we can for justice and peace. Please don't give up on us, Israelis, yet. change can only come from the younger generation, but with all these walls and barriers the younger generation will not be able to get to know each other. That distance only create fear and hate. Your work is extremely important. Please, dear queen, try to bring Israeli children and at least Palestinian children in Jordan together somehow. I'll be exteremly happy to assist any kind of initiative.

Dear Queen Rania,
I'm really proud of you to be our Queen and to be our (as women)model. Your initiatives and ideas are really the hot issues for women and children. As you said about eduction (It resides in the mind of a child who is taught how to think. How to learn. How to navigate the world, avoid whirlpools, climb mountains. From this point I would like to focus on our teaching methodology in most of our schools that are outside the capital -Amman-, it can be described as a traditional method of teaching, it is not that one which can built the ability of creative thinking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Such skills can help the students to built resposible and strong personalities; to adapt with their life ; and to manage their problems easily. I hope all our schools can apply your vision towards education to have empower ourselves.

Dear Queen Rania,

First of all I want to congratulate you with the 48th birthday of your husband yesterday. That you may celebrate his birtday for many times to come with you and your family in good health.

My name is Ernst van Damme from the Netherlands and I was in the great opportunity to visit Jordan in May and June last year on my foot march from The Neherlands to Tibet. It gave me the opportunity to get to know your fine and warm people and make many good friend for live here.

After I solded my house, gave up my carrier - and start walking for justice, dignity and humanity - my live became so big and full of blessings that it made me the most happy man I ever felt in my whole live before. It made me realise that nothing is impossible in achieving a better world.

As big crown on my quest I had the honorfull opportunity the meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama from Tibet in his hometown Dharamsala, where he still lives in exile since 1959. If you have the opportunity to see a picture of me and him together? I humbly advice you to look for that on my website www.voettochtnaartibet.nl (translationbutton available). I am also very glad that you are a friend on my youtube-page already. My great thanks for that.

In May last year I tried to meet you, but the nice people from your office told me the 29th of May that you were very busy at that moment. It was in the period of the visit from the Pope in your country and after that a big economical congres that attended your precence. So destiny was not on our side at that moment.

But maybe fait gets a second change. At the moment I am back in Amman, attending my wonderfull Jordanian friends over here before I turn back to my country and try to use my talents for my 'native' people again.

I stay in Amman till the 12th of February. So maybe if you like to meet for a short moment I am so eager to tell you about my wonderfull expiriences with many people in the 15 countries I crossed with my 7000km foot march. And in special about the dignity and respect from people I expirienced all over. The hope and expectations I was able to give way by speach in the precence of shared souls is still heartwarming all over. It made me realise that changing our world is always possible.

With my most kindest regards and keep up your good works.
