Queen Rania Honors INJAZ Volunteers

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) On International Volunteers Day Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah honored four recipients of the INJAZ Volunteer Achievement Award and INJAZ Corporate Achievement Award.

Queen Rania, who is committed to supporting individuals and corporations that contribute to youth empowerment, joined the INJAZ volunteer community for the annual commemorative event. Twenty volunteers were recognized for contributions in three different categories: volunteer committee, corporate, and professional individuals. The awardees exemplify high standards of motivation and excellence and serve role models for other youth.

More than 1,400 people attended this year's event to celebrate the dedication of the volunteers in working with 55,000 Jordanian youth throughout the Kingdom Guests also enjoyed the feature performance by Jordanian folkloric group, Distorted.

Queen Rania, who is the regional ambassador of Injaz, has supported many of the INJAZ programs since it was founded in 1999.

Injaz is part of the Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide program. JA is the world's largest and fastest growing organization dedicated to economic education, operating in nearly 100 countries and reaching 7 million students annually.
