Queen Rania Meets with Madrasati’s CSR Sponsors at Creativity Workshop

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) –Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah dropped by the Madrasati CSR sponsors and creativity workshop at the King Hussein Club in Amman today. The interactive workshop was designed by Madrasati to focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creativity and how they are linked to Madrasati.

Using their experience with Madrasati as an example, the participants briefed Her Majesty on the different ways their respective organizations managed to creatively utilize CSR tactics in helping and volunteering with the Initiative.

Her Majesty expressed how impressed She was with the different and creative approaches the participants used in order to help raise the standards of education in the worst off public schools in the kingdom through Madrasati.

Her Majesty thanked the participants for their support of Madrasati and stressed the importance of CSR to the companies and the communities they benefit and work in.

The aim of the workshop is to thank the Madrasati corporate sponsors, and discuss ways by which they can efficiently improve their support to the initiative. The workshop was divided into several sessions that provided participants with useful tools to use in activities related to CSR in schools.

The workshop also provided a space to think creatively about CSR and its link to education while helping Madrasati develop new ideas for activities.

The workshop was also about reflecting on personal experiences, providing ideas on how to keep the momentum going in volunteerism.
