About Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans

“Al-Aman” means security in Arabic. Al-Aman Fund was established in 2006 to help older orphans who have aged out of orphan care pursue full time higher education. The Fund supports them financially, educationally and emotionally through a variety of programs. As a result, orphaned youth can better integrate into society, and become self-reliant and productive members of their communities.

While orphan children are cared for through government-funded orphanages, these services end when they turn 18—leaving them on their own during the difficult transition to higher education and employment. Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah firmly believes that we have a social obligation to care for and empower Jordan's vulnerable citizens. As the only organization working to help orphans in Jordan with life after school, Al-Aman Fund bridges a gap in support of some of Jordan’s most vulnerable youth, giving them hope and the means to lead independent, successful lives.

To equip orphaned youth with the education and skills necessary to become self-reliant members of society.

Provide orphaned youth with a better future.
