For over a decade, the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) has strived to bring relief, security, and opportunity to those Jordanians who need it most. In the beginning, JRF partnered with disadvantaged families to provide them with skills and knowledge to raise their income, and with it their self-esteem and self-confidence.
As JRF has matured, experience has expanded and emboldened our ambitions. Now JRF believes in a sustainable, holistic approach, investing in communities, focusing on the needs of whole villages, and inspiring locals to take on the mantel of civil society themselves and work towards their own development.
In 2007, JRF and an international corporation, partnered with a village in Ajloun, called Rasoun. Cooperation quickly led to improved safety for the local girls’ school, medical equipment for the health centre, and micro-loans for residents. Inspired that change can happen, locals now have plans for a bakery, a nursery, and a much-needed bus route to Irbid.
This dramatic development shows how far Jordan has come. JRF has been at the forefront of this trend, leading by example, and using the power of partnerships between private, public, and non-profits sectors for the benefit of all Jordan.
The Foundation has also built an international reputation protecting our children from abuse. Too many children around the world are subject to the shadow of cruelty, and here in Jordan we have worked hard to shine a light on their lives by rescuing them from abusive hands.
Today, we have become a centre of excellence, passing on our know-how across Jordan and the region, teaching others how to protect children and heal whole families. Our work has grown beyond protective to preventative care, advocating against child abuse, galvanizing public support, and guiding government bodies in child safety.
In this sense, JRF has evolved. Once, it was a social service provider, helping poor women start a business or farmers learn management skills. Now, it has become a national institution, integral to the well-being and prosperity of our most vulnerable citizens; and one of which we are all proud.

Thanks so much Webmaster for your kind reply and for your attention to my thought!!...I really love Jordan and everything related to your amazing country!!!! Best wishes and blessings !!!

Your Majesty,
It is my pleasure having the chance of writting on your official website. I have admired your work and activities since long time ago, you are doing really great work, God bless you because of that.
Fifteen days ago, I got one of my dreams: visiting your amazing country. It was my dream since I was very little girl !! I really enjoyed the experience visiting all the great places like Desert Castles, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Ajloun, Amman, etc...It is true that Jordan is full of interesting places but there is one more aspect that I love in your country, that is JORDANIAN PEOPLE. Everyone were so kind and nice. Jordanians will be in my heart forever !!!!!
I had the chance of visiting Jordan River Foundation Showroom in Amman and buying some small handicraft items. It is really fantastic place to get something made in Jordan. Your country is full of interesting items like hand made items, embroideries, jewelry, the marvellous Dead Sea beauty products, etc.
All those stuff gave me an idea !! Every year in Madrid, we have the chance of attending FITUR (International Tourism Fair)It is the second most important tourism exhibition all over the world. I really love attenting there and visiting all the exhibitors, specially from Arab countries. They all have a nice presention, including Jordanian stand but somethnig is missing in it. All the Arab stands show nice typical items and handicraft from each country, except Jordanian stand...I dont understand why?? I think Jordanian stand must show some typical items too in order all the visitors can buy them. I am thinking about embroideries, jewelry, Dead Sea beauty products...In my opinion that would catch the attention of more visitors. Last time, Jordanian stand showed some items for the first time: the typical Sand bottles. But I think that is not enough. Jordan has lot of stuff to offer!!!
I would like my idea was considered by authorities in charge of tourism promotion. I would by very happy finding handicraft at Jordan stand at FITUR 2011.
I send you all my best wishes and continued success in your endeavors. God bless you, your family and all the marvellous Jordanian people !!!
Yours faithfully,
María

On behalf of the Economics Student Association (SALEC) from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Monterrey campus (MEXICO) I extend to you a warm greeting. I am pleased to salute you and take this opportunity to inform you that days 28, 29 and 30 of October of the present year will be held the XXIX International Symposium on Economics in our institution. It is an event of great value that will attend students of Economics and related areas of all the country, as well as lecturers currently serving in the Mexican public sector.
We look for the symposium to be characterized for being a space in which the knowledge and ideas of contemporary economics not only are exposed, but extended to an audience who will give a scientific, political, social and/or enterprise application on real life decisions. Through an economic approach towards social responsibility, the event pretends to make the assistants reflect on new proposals concerning the current challenges on economics, in which the improvement of the performance and the relations between economic agents become necessary.
You have had an important and ample trajectory in subjects related to social responsibility, education, human rights and community empowerment. Evidently your experience and commitments are invaluable for our society. By such reasons, it would be an honor for us and for ITESM to have you in our event, sharing ideas about the importance of cross cultural and interfaith dialogue towards greater understanding, tolerance and acceptance across the world. Formally, we would be enchanted to have you as skilfull lecturer of the Symposium. We are sure the event will satisfactorily secure its objectives with your valuable participation, considering that you are a recognized woman at international level.
We beforehand appreciate the attention that you offer the present and the valuable collaboration with the Economics Student Association (SALEC) of ITESM. We are at your disposal for any question or comment.
Respectfully,
Perla Anahí Jiménez Bahena

realy her majesty very nice picture with old ladies, it is very socailize, supporting, incouraging , aware them, it shows her majesty ur intrest to change the economy of jardinian peoples.
Majesty, I make excuses of this my new infiltration in her site, but I promise to them that in future I will avoid to give them thus much disturbance. But I wanted to say them what task of she and her activities. They are content that has gone to Sanremo, also because for me she has been reason to better know a person of her thickness, not only for the social role that she covers, but above all for her inner thickness. I think a person much intelligent one, she appeals to me that she has explained to beyond 20 million persons who the world does not have need of pietism, but opportunity that I can be dates only from the instruction, and this for me has been music for the ears (Said Italian that it emphasizes that she has made truly she appeal to me to listen to these her words), I have understood that she sees the deep ones as half in order to construct something deeper and long-lasting for she polulates, to head at the instruction that is an opportunity for the future. I share also the fact that with the dialogue and the cultural exchange can be pulled down of the immense walls and to make of the revolutions between polulates without need of the violence, making to know and knowing the other cultures cannot make other that to diminish the mutual prejudgments in order to construct to a true dialogue and more mutual respect. In she also through the television I have perceived much true humanity, a person to the search of the semplicità, but very aware of the task that she has towards own people and the various activities that the maks. And her attachment to the religion, to her family, important values for me a lot, because I think that for a person they are not alienable values. Before turning them my salute I wanted to say them that grief to have left to me like nickname mine blog. I have tried to cancel to me in order to rewrite to me in order to obviate to this error, but not they have succeeded. I wanted also to make mine compliments for its way to write: much comprehensible luminosity and to more, but without for this slipping in linguistics inaccuracies. I renew my salutes of a good continuation of life to she and its family!
Lorenza
N.B.: I have difficulty to write in English, I hope to have made to understand the concept of my thought
Majesty congratulation of her acts and her engagement! Excuse, I have difficulty to write in English, but I will improve soon.
Good continuation of life to she and family!
Lorenza
