Like Jeanna I am an American Jew but unlike her I have followed your activities for years. Practically since you became queen. While you may be a Muslim and I a Jew who stands with Israel on almost all matters -- I have the utmost respect for you and your endeavors.

I just joined as I had never thought you might have a web site (duh, stupid me) and came across your site through a link on MEMRI. I am glad that I have as you are the epitome of what an Arab woman should be. Make that any woman. It is too bad so many women never get the chance to prove themselves as you have. But unlike so many who have had the chance you have run with it and made the entire world a better place. Should you read this let your husband know that I believe him to be a brave and honest man too. I wish you nothing but the best and continued good health and I will pray for your peace.

Thank you for all you have done and all you will do in the future. May our peoples come to love and respect one another as G-d intends.

On the topic of human rights, and the rights of Arab minorities, Rabbi Hillel said:

"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? And if not now, when?”

Dear Queen,
My name is Dragana Marko, and I am living in Jordan since 1985…For sure you have many of obligations, so I will not disturb you by details from my history.
Since I came to Jordan I am working faithfully, caring about others and living a modest, but sincere life, surrounded by much of respect from people around me.
During my station here I learn a lot about Jordanian culture, tradition, norms, religion, habits…etc…
Motivated by my love to people in this country, and human beings in general, and noting changes in daily life habits all over the world, recently, me & my husband established a company for export- import of healthy food, with main aim to improve vitality at our citizens, entering some kinds of very healthy products, such us: soy meat in all forms (granules, slices, chunks) textured from soy beans genetically NOT modified, diet chocolate sweetened by fructose, cranberry bar in cereal…
I collected researches related to the benefits of soy, and I would like to introduce you regarding this…but I don’t know how to attach, or publish it here…
Briefly, soy has preventive and protective effect on hearth disease, diabetic patient, weight control, energy source, digestive system, reducing menopausal symptoms... e t c…
During last 4 months we are doing our best trying to increase awareness of people about it, and enter this type of food to the places of most importance, such as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, big malls, SOS village, Universities and even Military sector, as strategic and healthy food. Most of responsible persons we met were so interested for it, liked its taste (we prepared a menu for this type of food…and cocked it)…and some are even aware of its benefits, but they refused to enter it to their institutions or companies, simply because “Our people like “mensef” and “mashawi” more than all these things “…or their system is too complicated, and we must be very rich to cooperate with them, or “ its big challenge to start entering such food”, although last few years there is a lot of newly created products that are even harmful for human use…but accessible to consumers…even children!
So I appeal to you to help us in increasing awareness at our citizens regarding benefits of soy, and entering this type of food to our daily life. We are ready to teach anyone how to prepare it.

If there is way to help us, and our population, please contact us at this number:

I hope to visit Jordan again soon. I embrace Ammon fondly. May these days of economic hardships be limited and may all of our economies quickly recover. Inshallah; may the King's and your missions to bring elements of interfaith dialogue and civility to our world be joined by many. Thank you. Peace, Shalom, Salam.

Did you meet a new friend today? Perhaps not someone you met through a formal introduction but rather through an acknowledgement of common existence. Perhaps this new friend seemed like a cognitive light that landed on your hand near twilight on a farm in Pennville Indiana on a warm August evening, a long time ago when it was very hot. Or perhaps this new friend seemed ethereal, like someone who did not really have a name or a light but who helped your ancestor rest at the large rock on the dusty road a short walk on the south side of Damascus; a long time ago when it was very hot. Did you meet a new friend today?

I spoke to an attorney yesterday - an old friend and long ago, he employed me as an on call law clerk when his family was unavailable. He is a big propnent of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness, having named his building and structured much of his life around the iconic word "Liberty", complete with wall paintings everywhere of great heroic deeds in American and ancient history, of people who fought for liberty, as well as beautiful stained glass of the American flag, bald eagle and even the Constitution made of stained glass - an expensive work and testimony to his belief that humans are at their best when free to think and act for the better good of society and the planet we all share.

As we sat there overlooking the Pacific Ocean - a gorgeous view - and I described the nightmare I endured with that bank, and the nightmare Palestinians are enduring every day, every minute of their lives, he reminded me that Liberty comes with a price - that of the freedom of others to shape their world as they see fit - and that Zionists have a quest and have shaped much of their short history on this earth to obtain their own goals and agenda.

I replied that Liberty does not infer a right to cause suffering and genocide, and that those who use their power or Liberty to do so are de facto Tyrants, ripe for revolt and their own destruction by others, or as history has proven without fail, have designed no lasting future for themselves and a flawed agenda.

To which he replied, "...then why worry about Palestine? If the agenda of the Israeli government fits your model of Tyranny, then it will fail and if the people of Israel are fortunate and persistent, they'll replace it with something more sustainable, more humane, more in line with modern enlightened thinking."

This trend is already in motion. A growing number of South American nations are prepared to vote on U.N. recognition of Palestine as a nation, and Russia's President (wish he was our President), recently gave a thumbs up as well. There is little doubt that the trend is in motion for Palestine to have sovereignty, perhaps even this year if we - the global citizens who wish it to be - work to accelerate that process.

I urge you - those who might visit this site, or who, regardless of your religious beliefs, believe that Liberty and Sovereignty, and sanctuary and protection from violence under international standards, are keys to our peace, prosperity and continued evolution as a species, that you press your own governments at home for their support of this trend.

When a 7 year old Palestinian girl can be stoned by an adult male who is never arrested, we, the people of planet earth, are failing. And when the Palestinians have a homeland and these incidents fade to a distant memory, then we will have all achieved something great; something that took 10,000 years to find at last.

I am a JEWISH AMERICAN woman Jeana Weinberg, and I had never heard of Queen Rania until one day I was doing research for an article on the top women of the world. I stumbled across an article on line in FORBES when Queen Rania's profile came up. I was enamored by the beauty, sophistication, humbleness, and compassion of this beautiful Arab woman. Since I am Jewish the connotation around the world is that we all hate each other and have been fighting for the same land for thousands of years and can never come together in peace. I was amazed that all of her causes were causes I am passionate about. I own a yoga studio in Miami Florida and am a mother of one son and two step sons. I volunteer my time to abused children, teens with low self-esteem, and do yoga workshops on mindful eating to help stop anorexia and body dysmorfia. But the one thing I really feel I can help Queen Rania on is bridging East and West. It is one thing for me as an American woman to help do that, but I am a Jewish American woman and Israel is my holyland and a place that is so true and dear to my heart. Two summers ago I took my son and his best friend to Israel and we were floating in the Dead Sea and you can literally see Jordan and if there wasn't so much salt actually swim there. I have seen pictures of Jordan and think it is so beautiful, but I could NEVER go visit unless circumstances change where I know I would be safe there as a tourist. I have been in the works of starting a charity called the PEACE TRAIN. My son gave me the idea one day when he told me he wanted to start a charity and to help him think of ideas. He has a muslim friend, so I thought it would be great if the two of them ( A MUSLLIM BOY AND A JEWISH BOY) could come together and collect toys, books, and items for all of the innocent children who are in hospitals in Israel and the middle East. Our children are our future and we need to teach them well so they can lead the way!!!! I have written before and never heard back. I feel it is time and am crossing my fingers and hoping someone can connect me to the Queen, so we can get to work. I am dedicated, dependable, passionate, caring, and will serve our cause. My e-mail is YOGIJEANA@AOL.COM AND my yoga website is where you can read about me, my credentials, and the book Bliss I wrote. Thank you

Another Sandwich Swap recipe.
Someone gave me another recipe for hummus. Garlic roasted hummus, on pita bread with olives, garbanzo beans, lemon juice, tahini sauce and olive oil. Optional cucumbers, onions and sour cream.

I tried it. It is very good.
