(Jordan Times - Amman) The London Business School 2006 Worldclass event entitled, “Why Should Anyone be Led by You?” opened on Sunday.  Hosted by the country for the second time, this year's event, held under the patronage of HRH Prince Feisal, is an interactive two-day learning session on motivating and inspiring others, creating high-performance teams and building unique business models.  Her Majesty Queen Rania participated in the event's discussions on leadership development yesterday.  Participants also examined how to build a culture that fosters the development of leaders and ways to create management role models to encourage economic growth and improve the business environment.  Today, the final day of the event, participants will focus on organisational challenges facing leaders in the Middle East.  Professor Nirmayla Kumar will lead a session on how entrepreneurial leaders can develop unique business concepts and transform their industry's dynamics.  London Business School, established in 1965, is ranked among the top 10 international business schools.  Programme director Rob Goffee, who co-authored the leadership book “Why Should Anyone be Led by You,” is participating in this year's event.  Goffee will highlight challenges faced by leaders in different work and cultural contexts.  The last event in the country, Worldclass 2004, was also held at the Dead Sea and focused on the topic of “Creating Value Through Innovation.”  Prince Feisal, a member of the Middle East Regional Advisory Board of London Business School, is an alumni of London Business School. Jordan Times, Monday, April 10, 2006
