Education = Opportunity.

The opportunity to work. The opportunity to escape poverty. The opportunity to live healthily. The opportunity to live confidently. The opportunity to hope.

I believe you deserve an education.
Whoever you are.
It’s your right.

You deserve the chance to make the most of this brief glimpse we call existence. To be all you can be. To help those dear to you. To re-imagine the parameters of possibility.

Because education is transformative.

It can rescue a girl from the burdens of adulthood: early marriage and premature pregnancy.
It can empower a woman to take control of her life: mind, body, and soul.
It can defeat disease and temper intolerance: a shield for both our health and our humanity.

Education is a Titan.

Whole communities and countries lifted from the quicksands of destitution to the plains of progress.

And the power of education lies not in the pages of textbooks, or the recital of facts and figures.
It resides in the mind of a child who is taught how to think. How to learn. How to navigate the world, avoid whirlpools, climb mountains.

Education isn’t a line I’m spinning.
It’s a lifeline that’s saving.
Saving families. Saving futures.

Dear Queen Rania,

My father,54 years old, was an employ at the Royal Palace, then in 2000 he retired.Later on he worked in tourism, until September of last year , he had a stroke that affected both of his vision and movement,so he wasn't able to continue working.
June of this year and today,he experienced cramps which led to breaking his left arm( in June).
Now he needs regular medical care for his health issues.
I didn't know where else to go,and ask how to get him Diwan exemption.

My e-mail :

Looking forward to hear from Your Majesty soon.
Thanks Your Majesty.

Dear Queen Rania,
I am really impressed with all you have done for education, for the world and for your country.
Mexico has a lack of education as many contries in the world, wich is a significant factor that causes poverty.
I would really appreciate if you could help me with some ideas to do something for my country, maybe joining UNGEI, I do believe something big can be done for all the girls and boys in my country (Mexico).
Thank you so much in advance. Best wishes.

Nice to see people thinking of future and building it from present. I think education is the strongest basis for a human-dign society, all for community improvement. With education humans can produce the highest positive development of their own. One peaceful mankind shall tresspass the sad walls of intolerance, one-viewed world and censors impositions. Corruption must be avoided everytime, in every human scene of life, even in "democracies".
My english is a lot bad, hope not my thoughts :)
Salutes and thanks for being so positive and shinning human being for dignity and progress for all people.

Dignified Queen Rania
His words are wise. Education is the key to opportunity. Without education there is no overcoming barriers, whether social or emotional, or national ...
Therefore, I admire his person and his work, to encourage and invest in lives so tender. They grow animated by the words of a leader concerned with education.
May the Almighty God bless you and protect you.

Dear Your Royal Majesty Queen Rania:
I hope that you are always doing well, since Your well being, virtue and efforts are gifts to all people of limited dimensions around the world.
Your Majesty Queen Rania: this is my second letter to you, since I have sent you one last month. I had a brief email from Your Majesty’s office, they asked for my number, which I sent back, but that was it, no body contacted me so far, and because I am running out of time and I could loose this opportunity I thought its better to recontact Your Majesty to clarify the matter.
Since I personally know and heard a lot more about Your Majesty's responsiveness and support specially to education and learning, and after all my trials to cover my study were unsuccessful and all doors I knocked were locked with no response, I was encouraged to approach Your Majesty and request from Your Majesty to support me for a scholarship, with a great faith that you will have the solution for my case.
I am first of all a Jordanian citizen, who had the destiny to travel to England for work and study, and I managed to get my master degree in Health Service Management. And the plan was to continue my PhD, I got sick back home in Jordan, and suffered several heart attacks and was diagnosed as having coronary heart disease, however, thank God I passed it and got healthier after it consumed all my savings. I still have some treatment in England.
Recently, I have been accepted and enrolled for a postgraduate PhD research study at Kingston University, Computing, Information System, and Mathematics Faculty, se details below:
Course: CISM Research Computer Science UA23
Faculty:Faculty Of Computing Information Systems And Mathematics
Mode of attendance:Full Time
Start month:April Term 3
Location:Penrhyn Road
Student ID Number K1067325
I have no doubt that you will look at this and give it Your Majesty's attention.
Looking forward to hear from Your Majesty soon.

Vostra Altezza,

Dear Queen Rania,

I am a UK citizen but was born in Jordan and return frequently to visit my family there (I will in fact be there again in April 2011).

I am currently in Cameroon working at a school for disabled, autistic and deaf children. Having followed some of the great work you have done within the field of education I was hoping you may have some interest in my project.

The school is called Le Caméléon and is one of very few of its kind in Cameroon and it is certainly the largest. It opened in 2000 with just 20 pupils by the founder Gisela Towa. She donated 2 floors of her home to start the centre. 10 years on there are 68 students at the centre.

Unfortunately, children like these at Le Caméléon are often marginalised by society and are turned away from mainstream education. Schools such as these receive no government funding, therefore not many exist, leaving many children with no access to education at all. Le Caméléon is striving to make their community one in which all people are valued and recognised for their individual contributions and talents.

Whilst I am here I am trying to fundraise for them and also expand their profile. I want them to be able to continue the great work they do so that in the future they can continue to grow and take in more children who otherwise would not have access to education.

Le Caméléon certainly shares your vision and I sincerely hope it is a school that may interest you.

Yours Faithfully
Valentina Lewis

Dear Queen Rania,

The new democratic movements are the greatest opportunity for you to transform the world. I hope you draw great strength from this and succeed in spreading women's rights and the openness to ideas in a new, progressive Middle East.

You aren't just promoting intercultural dialogue; you are spreading the ideals of the Enlightenment. Peter the Great and Catherine the Great also had to do this in difficult systems. The democratic movements in the Middle East may create systems that are rooted in Enlightenment principles and more open to change than ever before.

You have millions of internet fans because we hear your message, and you have shown us a visionary, dynamic side of you that is very real. This will continue to inspire the public for years. Thanks.

Your Majesty,

I am impressed. I heartily commend you. You are a real queen. Please do not ever bow down or cave into pressure from certain groups in Jordan and perhaps abraod who have recently leveled unfounded criticism and accusations. When you do something good, malcontents always have to complain.

Your majesty Queen Rania,

Before recently, your name was only mentioned through me via International News shown on the television in the U.S. Recently, I had befriended one of your people and began to understand why you love your country so much.

I feel you are a true inspiration not only to your people, but women all over the world. You are standing up and putting your foot down for the rights of women in your country. That is beautiful and most admirable.

Women do have rights just as much as men do. They are entitled to reach all the dreams they have ever dreamed of and not to feel stifled in any way form or fashion.

Thank you for being so brave,

Dear Queen Rania,
I have a very high respect for your and your vision.
I just wanted to bring your attention to the following, your website is currently being redesigned on the following website:

not sure if you know about that or not, but in case you didn't know this website will use designers from all over the world to submit designs and only pay 1 of them for the work done. This taints your vision of education as a power to change and hope.

I hope you do a take step and refuse to use websites like that that feed on the hope of people of being able to do something when they are only being used and one of them gets paid. This is not something you believe in and I am 100% sure of it.

Thank you.

Long Life to Queen Rania!

Dear Queen Rania,
I am a graduate student working on my MA in Theology at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, USA. It is my dream to be a writer and professor in the field of Islamic & Christian relations as well as publish works of theology both in Islam and Christianity. I feel that as an American citizen, my country simply lacks the knowledge of Islam that is needed to establish the relationships that can help not only the United States grow, but Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and every other major Islamic nation -- even those outside of the Middle East. The problem I have is that after converting to Islam my family has stopped supporting me financially and I have way too many debts to start work on my dreams. Once I graduate I will owe over $70,000 USD in student loans as well as $12,000 in misc. debt such as credit cards. I have wonderful ideas for books that I hope to write, inshallah, but I lack the funds to start the publication process. If you can hear my prayers and see my dreams I pray that you could offer me some kind of assistance, assistance of any kind; even something as simple as letting me interview you for one of my planned books which I have the hopes of writing first entitled "The 99 names of God" where I will interview 99 people who represent 99 of the innumerable aspects of God. I hope that you would be one of them. I pray that you see this message and contact me, my e-mail is

God bless you and your mission, the world is a better place because of you and will only get better from here inshallah.

Peace be with you,
Tyler L. Little

Your Majesty, I just registered on to this site, and I believe that your Vision is admirable!
Education is the key to the future! Without knowledge of the past, we can't move forward.
I hope many more people will be willing to listen to your vision and goals, because it is gold!

Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another.

Respected Queen
You are doing great in the field of education,You are the best role model for the females of any communities. In the developing countries people who think they know Quaran still believe education makes them the servant of government, companies, offices.By struggling whole life without modern day education, they think they are the boss. Dear, Hungry stomach cannot bring peace, cannot take them to schools. Those people are very lucky who have Queen like you.If parents are well-enough then only it's good to have babies. Education definately open the door for everything.

I live in the US which I think is a great country. Not because of what we are but what we could be. For what our founders thought we could be.

It's been a while since I've heard of Jordan in international press and perhaps that is a good thing. I have many friends from countries all around the world. I've had friends from Jordan as well as every neighbor you have.

Anyway, the main thing which bothered me recently is that I guess Texas is working on excluding the mention of muslem and islam from studies. I've no idea of what they are trying to do but I think exclusion can be a big problem. I think the bigest problem that citizens of the US have with muslems is that they don't understand you. Even though the whole ideal behind our country is acceptance, we seem to be failing in that area. I think we need help and I ask you for help.

Your Majesty, The great Queen.
i'm very proud to be a Jordanian citizen and have King Abdullah our leadership may God bless you both.
Your Majesty i agree you 100 %
Education = Opportunity.
we are happy to know our kids in safe Hands .
we are happy to feel The future of education of the priorities of Your Majesty.

Friday, September 3, 2010

Your Majesty,
We are approaching you from Roar Congo Network (RCN). RCN is a venture formed to equip villagers (women and children) to face health, education and livelihood problems with honor and dignity.
Our venture can achieve the following:
RCN will make a village self-reliant economically, provides preventive and preliminary healthcare to every villager (women and children), establish food and nutrition security and make every children active learners.
To ensure long-term and continuous resources for this venture, we have combined this with an education project (ICT training), which will fund the rural operation on ongoing basis. We are in the process of implementing the education project. After that, the project sustains on its own.
The second Congo War involved seven nations and claimed five million lives between 1998 and 2003. Despite the signing of peace accords in 2003 and elections in 2008, fighting continues in the east of the country today. Sexual violence remains an instrument of war used with intemperate brutality by all parties to this conflict and a growing number of civilians. The lives of tens of thousands of girls and women in DR Congo have been shattered by rape, gang rape, maiming, mutilation and other forms of disabling violence.
A large amount of Congolese people lives in rural area and for the low literacy rate they are long way from the benefit of Information communication and technology (ICTs). According to urban people rural people have no interest in modern science and don’t want to know about this. Always we saw them to visit traditional healer instead of Doctor when they became sick. We think they are depriving themselves from the benefit of modern science and technology revolution but did we questioned ourselves that what opportunity we created for them to get access in modern science (media) and technology recourses?
There is a growing concern that already marginalised poor people are further pushed to the corner and their livelihood becomes more vulnerable due to ferocious competition for job, market share and common resources. People having access to ICTs have better access to information, which put them in better position in economic activities. Therefore, various initiatives are on the way across the globe for identification of effective, efficient and sustainable means for making ICTs useful for the poor people both in urban and rural areas. Meanwhile, a transformation took place for creating the broader definition of ICTs. This definition includes not only computer and the Internet, but also radio, television, telephone (both mobile and landline), technologies and devices which are used for information processing, storage and transmission.
Your Majesty is interested to know more about our initiative, it would be a honor to send further information.
With Kind Regards,
