Queen Rania Meets with President and CEO of CARE USA
(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with President and CEO of CARE USA Dr. Helene Gayle, Regional Country Director for CARE in the Middle East Gareth Richards, Country Director of CARE Jordan Salam Kanaan, Regional Director of Development Fairuz Taqi-Eddin and Director for Humanitarian Programs Holly Solberg.
The meeting discussed the organization's work in Jordan and the region. Attendees also briefed Her Majesty on CARE's cooperation with other organizations and civil society institutes to support women empowerment and improve local communities' capabilities to respond to emergencies.
