Queen Rania Meets with Jordan River Foundation Board of Trustees to Discuss Future Plans

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with members of the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) Board of trustees and administration, to discuss JRF’s expansion and future plans.

During the meeting Her Majesty was briefed on JRF’s latest projects and their progress. Her Majesty had asked JRF earlier in the year to expand their reach, in order to provide more Jordanians with their services. Upon Her Majesty’s directives, the JRF team presented during the meeting the expansion plans that would increase the number of JRF services and beneficiaries in Jordan.

As part of the expansion JRF plans to increase the number of their centers, which work on community empowerment and development.

Her Majesty commended the JRF team on their work, and thanked the Board of Trustees members for their time, commitment and support to JRF’s initiatives and hard work.

The meeting was attended by Board members H.E. Hala Latouf, H.E. Jafar Hassan, H.E Suzanne Afanah; JRF Vice Chair, Maysa Jalbout; JRF Director, Valentina Qussisiya; Mr Saed Karajah, Mrs. Margret Shordum, and Mr. Amar Khamash. The meeting was also attended by JRF staff, who facilitated the briefing for Her Majesty.

Established 15 years ago in 1995 by Her Majesty, the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit Jordanian non-governmental organization (NGO). JRF aims to lift the lives of Jordanians by empowering communities, with wide range of programs such as those that encourage job creation and child protection.
